We are throwing the traditional choral rulebook out the window! For our season opener, we are stepping outside the lines to explore music that completely breaks the mold.

Expect the unexpected as we dive into playful soundscapes, songs made entirely of meaningless syllables, and wild reimagining of familiar tunes (just wait until you hear Smash Mouth’s All Star performed as an English Madrigal).

We will also be taking a fun look at how different composers tackle the exact same text by performing contrasting arrangements back-to-back.

Unboxed is a joyful, slightly cheeky, and deeply creative exploration of what a choir can really sound like when we stop taking ourselves too seriously.

We are joined by guest group Mundane Problems.

This concert supports the Crescent Arts Centre.
